She’s 6’ tall and never forgets her heels: Eleanor Beaton grew up wanting to be a “supermodel investment banker” and now she helps women in business stand tall in their fierce feminine leadership.

Eleanor and Melinda talk confidence, work-life balance, managing conflict, and how to give voice to each other’s stories and experiences as women.

“I’m inspired by the major shifts we see now,” she says. We talk about why it makes no sense to aspire to be a perfect “Business Barbies”, why boundaries and knowing your “why” is vital, why women should be direct and avoid “false harmony” and why competitive sports are vital for women in learning resilience and managing conflict as they play the game of business.

• Conflict is part of the game of business. Learn how to be direct, speak your truth, and acknowledge the other, so you can debate ideas without making enemies.
• Work Smart AND Work Hard: If you’re in alignment with your true purpose, work shouldn’t feel like work.
• Don’t feel you have to be a “Business Barbie”: Don’t “do it all”: Do a lot, sure, and find equilibrium so you have quality time for your own self-care, time for your partner and children AND your business.
• Keep strong boundaries
• Balance the healthy feminine with the healthy masculine: The Healthy Feminine: It’s about creativity, collaboration and innovation. The Healthy Masculine is about protection, provision and backup. We talk about why the most conscious and successful leaders combine these masculine and feminine qualities.
