Paula helped build the contract research organization (CRO) industry, and the preeminent CROs, Quintiles. There she had numerous roles, among them president of clinical development, with responsibility for 22,000 employees. She serves on many boards, including Health Decisions and the Nasdaq-quoted company, Novan. FierceBiotech also recognized Paula as one of the top 10 women in Biotech.
Lisa served as CEO of PurThread, an anti-microbial textile company, since 2009. Lisa was also the CEO for several healthcare companies, including InSite Clinical Trials (sold to United Healthcare) and AcSentient (sold to ISTA). Her background includes positions with Glaxo (now GSK) and PPDI, where she began her entrepreneurial career as an early member of its senior management team, leading global sales.
