Passion. Purpose.

When we are out of alignment with our true mission in life – or create businesses that do not fulfil our authentic purpose – it is all that much harder to succeed as an entrepreneur.

A year ago today, on the 4th of July, I sat on a rock in the middle of a babbling brook, bathed in the green of the forest in Washington DC’s Rock Creek park.

Then came the revelation.

Independence Day has many meanings to many people and to me it is a personal one: It is the day, one year ago today, I stepped into my authentic purpose to build a platform to help women take flight and soar high as leaders, innovators, influencers and high performing entrepreneurs. It was the day I chose to be the catalyst that brought women together to help each other, mentor each other, throw business to each other and invest in each other.

In this very personal episode I share some of my entrepreneurial journey and how to recognize when you are in – or out of – alignment.

She also shares some of her plans for the future of Wings:
