Show Notes
Sophie Howe got her inspiration at after meeting her cofounder at a hackathon at the University of Toronto, and it was what she calls “a touchless world” driven by our gestures.
That was three years ago, and now the 24-year-old is now the CEO and co-founder of Xesto.io, a platform using machine learning and artificial intelligence to help developers and creators build smart applications based on our gestures rather than text or speech.
She’s got her sights set on building a $1bn unicorn, and right now is focused on the early commercialization of her startup’s innovative technology. It’s not an easy challenge, trying to change consumer behavior and educate a market, but Sophie is up for it.
