Veronica Cool took the leap from Corporate America to entrepreneurship when she realized she was giving away valuable advice on how to engage the fast growing and affluent Hispanic American market. Now CEO and founder of Cool & Associates helping businesses bridge the cultural gap, she shares how to live an intentional life, value yourself, and know your worth.
For years, Veronica Cool freely gave advice to F500s about how to reach and engage Latinos in her executive roles at Wells Fargo and Bank of America
Then she realized she was giving away valuable advice for free. It was the ‘aha’ moment that led her to take the leap into entrepreneurship.
A native of the Dominican Republic, Veronica now runs Cool & Associates, a management consulting that helps companies bridge the cultural divide to market to Hispanics – a $1.5 trillion opportunity often missed. She says most companies are missing out too by failing to leverage top Latino talent.
In this Minisode, Veronica shares:
- How to know and ask for your true value and how not to negotiate against yourself or price yourself to low
- How to be “intentionally selfish” – and why putting yourself first is good for your business
- How not to get overextended by saying “yes” to everything
- And other great tips for women in business and much more!
